Everything you need to know about races, registrations, payments, and more.

01. Registrations

Find the race in the Races section, click "Register" and follow the steps. If the race has multiple routes, you can choose the one that suits you best. You will need an active account with a verified email.
No. An account on BasqueRun is required to register. Signing up is free and takes less than a minute.
When a race is full, you can join the waiting list. If a spot becomes available, you will receive an email notification and have a limited time to confirm your registration before it passes to the next person on the list.
Yes. From the race page, under the "Gift registration" option, you can purchase a registration for someone else. They will receive a code they can redeem whenever they like.
The cancellation policy is set by each race organizer. Check the details on the race page or contact the organizer directly.

02. Payments

Depending on the race, the organizer may offer card payment, bank transfer, or free registration. Each race shows which methods are available.
Yes. All payments are processed securely through certified payment gateways. BasqueRun does not store your card details or banking information.
For card payments, confirmation is immediate. For bank transfers, it is confirmed once the organizer verifies the payment. You will receive a confirmation email in both cases.
Check your spam folder. If it is not there, go to My Registrations to check the status. If the registration shows as confirmed, you can resend the email from there.

03. Race Bibs

Yes, as long as the organizer allows it. From your dashboard under Transfers you can start the process.
You initiate the transfer by entering the recipient's email. They receive a verification code to accept it. Once accepted, the registration is in their name.
It is not required. You can transfer the bib to any email address. If the recipient does not have an account, they will be guided to create one when accepting the transfer.
Yes. While the transfer is in "pending" status you can cancel it from your transfers dashboard.

04. Teams

Teams are groups of runners who can compete together in races with a team category. You can create or join a team from your dashboard.
Go to the Teams section in your runner dashboard and click "Create team". You can set the name and invite members.
From your team management page, enter the email of the runner you want to invite. They will receive a notification and can accept or decline the invitation.
Yes, you can be a member of multiple teams at the same time.

05. Results

Results are published by the organizer. The timeframe varies depending on the event. When they are available, you will receive an email notification if you are registered.
On the public results page of the race and in your dashboard under My Results, where you have your full history.
Contact the race organizer directly. BasqueRun displays results as imported by the organizer; any corrections must be handled with them.

06. Account & Profile

When you register you will receive an email with a verification link. If you do not receive it, log in to your account and request a resend from the notice shown on screen.
From Settings in your dashboard, or by using the "Forgot your password?" option on the login screen.
Yes. From your profile settings you can link your Strava account so your activities contribute to platform challenges.
Under Security in your account settings you can enable 2FA using an authenticator app.
